Xbox Partner Preview Broadcast Event Unveiled by Microsoft
Microsoft has revealed an upcoming Xbox Partner Preview broadcast event scheduled for October 25 at 10 am Pacific, 1 pm Eastern, and 6 pm UK time and October 26 at 1 am Hanoi time.
This 30-minute presentation is geared toward providing fresh insights into games that are slated to arrive on Xbox, Windows PC, and Game Pass, all thanks to partnerships with third-party developers, according to Microsoft's announcement.
This will encompass an overview of in-game features for Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the launch trailer for Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake 2, the first gameplay footage for Studio Wildcard's Ark: Survival Ascended, and an in-depth exploration of Microbird Games' Dungeons of Hinterberg. Fans can anticipate over 20 minutes of trailers and new gameplay footage.
Microsoft emphasized in its communication to the press that the Xbox Partner Preview will not include any additional news, game unveilings, or Game Pass information related to the company's recent acquisition of Activision Blizzard King, which amounted to a whopping $69 billion. Xbox head Phil Spencer has already cautioned fans not to expect titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Diablo 4 to be added to Game Pass before 2024, at the earliest.
Additionally, it's highly unlikely that Microsoft will utilize this event to announce any new Xbox hardware. A significant Xbox leak from September disclosed potential but potentially outdated plans to introduce a mid-gen Xbox refresh without a disc drive in 2024, along with a next-gen Xbox set for a 2028 release.
