The release of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch has been postponed
The release of Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch, originally set for October 13, 2023, has been postponed, with Warner Bros. Games making the announcement. The new release date is December 1, 2023.
In a statement shared on Twitter, Warner Bros. Games expressed its apologies to fans and clarified the reason behind the delay: "More time is required to deliver the finest possible experience for Nintendo Switch players. We extend our apologies to fans eagerly anticipating this trilogy version. Your patience is greatly appreciated."
Rocksteady's Batman trilogy was unveiled for the Nintendo Switch during June's Nintendo Direct presentation. This trilogy comprises Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight, along with all the downloadable content for these three titles.
This marks the debut of Rocksteady's Arkham games on the Nintendo Switch, although they have previously been available on other Nintendo platforms, with Arkham City having a special release on the Wii U. For those unfamiliar with these games, Arkham Asylum is the most compact in scale, entirely set within the asylum itself. Arkham City expands the scope to encompass Gotham City, and Arkham Knight introduces the Batmobile as a central gameplay element.
All three games received significant acclaim, with Arkham Asylum in particular setting a new standard for superhero video games.
