SQUARE ENIX Announces TOKYO GAME SHOW 2024 SQUARE ENIX ASIA SPECIAL PROGRAM Airing on September 29

The TOKYO GAME SHOW 2024 SQUARE ENIX ASIA SPECIAL PROGRAM, airing on Sunday, September 29 at 4:30 PM JST, will feature MC Neki Matsuzawa alongside special guests from the development teams:

- Masaaki Hayasaka, Producer of DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake

- Shinichi Tatsuke, Producer of Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven

About DRAGON QUEST III HD-2D Remake:

This remake serves as the beginning of the "Erdrick Trilogy" and will be followed by DRAGON QUEST I & II HD-2D Remake in 2025. The remake is an ideal entry point for newcomers to the franchise, with Masaaki Hayasaka, who has been with SQUARE ENIX since 2015, leading its production. Hayasaka has previously worked on Octopath Traveler as Assistant Producer and Sound Director.

About Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven:

This remake of the classic RPG introduces enhanced visuals and reworked strategic gameplay. Players will experience a multi-generation saga as they expand their empire. Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven is Shinichi Tatsuke's first SaGa title as a Producer. Tatsuke joined SQUARE ENIX in 2008 and has previously worked on titles like Trials of Mana and GUARDIAN CROSS.
