We are a small humble media outlet, with each member holding a distinct role. Yet, in reality, we are versatile and capable of stepping into different positions as needed. Don't be surprised if you find a news editor also skilled in video editing. Or an MC hosting a program who also has a deep understanding of video games, and behind the scenes, that person is the one independently crafting the script to discuss games in front of the camera, bypassing the help from an editor. We are fully conscious of where we stand and continually push ourselves beyond our inherent strengths.

    Editor-in-chief of Island Blasting, Hoang “Alex” Phong Nguyen holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the UK. He recognized the absence of video game journalism in his mother country and thus established Island Blasting in 2022 to honor the audience there. Therefore, Island Blast serves not only global but also Vietnam audiences and is dedicated to providing quality video game journalism to them.

    Being from Tokyo, Trung “Henry” Kien Nguyen possesses extensive knowledge of Japanese video games, specifically Nintendo titles. He has a profound affection for RPG and handheld games, and he is utilizing his expertise to aid Island Blasting in gaining a deeper understanding of the video game industry in Japan.
